After a strenuous day watching the ponies tuck into Badrutt's Palace for an aperitif or two. Referred to simply as "The Palace" this is "das hotel" in St. Moritz. The Renaissance Bar will welcome you warmly. Whilst you sip your bellini you'll barely notice the gratis crisps and marcona almonds; you'll be too busy simply feasting your eyes on l'art et le savior-faire going on around you.

Dress code: jackets required after 7:30*
*We spotted Guy Richie heading in just past 9pm, jacket and all.
